Darren was awesome! The first thing I'd like to highlight is his responsiveness and flexibility. We were trying to buy quickly in a competitive market and being able to see houses at the drop of a hat was key, especially when they were reviewing offers upon receipt. Many times we would see houses the same day they came on the market or at least within 24 hours because Darren made himself available to do so. Also, Darren was patient and was respectful of our wishes. When we had to bail on a previous property due to inspection/disclosure issues, he did not try and pressure us to move forward. He helped us get the information we needed and when it didn't work out was enthusiastic about continuing the search. Lastly, Darren is easy-going and easy to be around but will still give you his honest opinion about red flags on houses. The home inspector and sewer inspectors that he uses are cream of the crop and will not lead you astray. Darren was consistent to the very last day, acting aggressively on our behalf to help us to close early and move-in early. We met Darren through a referral program. At first, we were hesitant since we sold our house with another popular online real estate firm. If we sold AND bought with them, we would get a percentage back in the form of a “rebate.” Our experience with that company was good, so we didn’t really want to stray. Where to begin....to start Darren is simply AMAZING! Today marks the 30 days since we begin contact with Darren and we have already been living in our house for a WEEK! We made a short fused moved from overseas to the Bremerton area and we started the home buying process while still outside the US. Darren made the process as painless and seamless as possible. He was our "boots on ground" and picked the right place for us within our budget! This was our first home buy and going into it I thought this was going to be a painful process as you hear all the nightmare buys out there... NOT with Darren! He answered every question and if he didn't know he found the answer out instead of just guessing. Additionally he was always available...with the 17 hour time difference he made his schedule work for us, not us working for his schedule. There were a couple later in the evening phone calls and he had no problem answering those...most of the time on the first ring!!! From the time we landed in country we were in our home within 48 hours which made the move even easier and savings on our hotel bill!
